THE NATIONAL PAN AMERICAN GOLF ASSOCIATION

Greetings,                                                                                                       1-27-2014

I sincerely hope all are healthy and staying warm this winter. Those lucky enough to live in a warm climate are sure the envy of us who are at the mercy of cold fronts constantly disrupting our golf plans.

Harlingen is hosting the Winter Meeting on April 3-5, 2014. The deadline for submitting a new business proposal to be placed on the meeting’s agenda is February 3rd 2014. This would allow the minimum time frame to distribute the proposal to the chapters. Please send all proposals to David Gutierrez, National Secretary, at david.gutierrez@npaga.org  I ask for your support to the Harlingen Chapter by purchasing an Ad in their brochure, booking your room early and by registering on time.

Our new NPAGA web site is online now but still under construction. Charlene Bourgeois, National Vice President, is still working with our consultant on editing and updating several pages on the site. Please take the time to visit us online.

I like to congratulate the North Hays and the Chicago chapters for acquiring their USGA license. Thanks go out to the Wichita, Mercedes, Lockhart, New Braunfels and Amarillo chapters for submitting their applications and are awaiting their license. Thank you Chris Reynolds, National Tournament Director, for all your help in this matter.

Please make you plans for El Paso, July 28 – August 1, 2014

Stay healthy, see you in Harlingen.

David Tovar

President, National PAGA
